Exercise During First Trimester

This is another exercise done while you are standing up. Exercises done while standing up are great because it's a natural thing for human beings, while sitting or lying down are unnatural. But even more than that, exercising while standing helps to keep the blood circulating well.You're using your body weight in this exercise. Just place your back flat up against a wall and then squat down, essentially making a chair out of the wall. Then rise back up. Do as many repetitions as you think you can comfortably handle.

Wall Squatsis a bodyweight version of squats. All you do is put your back flat against a wall and squat down so that your upper thighs are at about parallel to the ground. Do 3-4 sets 2-3 days a week. Do however many repetitions you feel comfortable with. A great way to do these is to when commercials come on tv. You can do 1 set during each commercial break until you're done.

The first trimester of pregnancy can be a confusing and difficult time for some women. Your body is experiencing so many changes, physical and hormonal which impact you in a way like nothing else. Though most women are not showing until well after the first trimester there are massive unseen changes going on inside your body. Some of these changes can cause extreme discomfort.

Morning sickness is the most common complaint of women during the first trimester of pregnancy. Besides this, you may feel tired without doing much work. Your breasts may enlarge and become tender. Some women experience frequent urination at this stage. You might also feel constipated or bloated. Indigestion is another discomfort to cope with. Whatever might be the discomfort; this stage of pregnancy development is going to be difficult, as you are constantly adjusting to new changes and learning new things.

Once you carry on with your abdominal exercises during pregnancy you would improve resistance to fatigue, gain lesser body fat, improve posture, sleep well and get very good back muscles. The exercises on the long run would help you to overcome weight problem in post pregnancy period and fast recovery of other common problems of post pregnancy.

Exercise is preferably done when you are physically and emotionally up to it however, if your experiencing the early signs of pregnancy such as morning sickness, sensitive breasts or having little energy then, reduce your routines and do not feel guilty about it.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to wake up every morning during your pregnancy feeling energized and looking great? It's possible, and the place to start is with regular, but safe exercises. Pregnancy exercises in the first trimester is an important first step in controlling how you feel and how you look throughout your entire term (and beyond). It's important to start now (today) to make the remainder of your pregnancy go as smoothly as possible.
